What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice that invites your body into deep rest while your awareness remains gently awake.

Unlike traditional guided meditations that primarily engage the thinking mind, Yoga Nidra gently guides you through layers of awareness-helping you relax not only physically, but mentally, emotionally, and energetically. As your body settles, your nervous system naturally shifts from stress and survival into a state of deep restoration.

There is nothing to do, nothing to fix, and nothing to achieve.

Simply lie down, get comfortable, and allow yourself to be guided.

Your Questions, Answered

Do I need any experience?

Not at all. Yoga Nidra is a guided practice that's suitable for everyone, whether it's your very first experience or something you've enjoyed before. Simply come exactly as you are.

Is this a yoga class?

No. There are no poses or movement involved. You'll simply get comfortable lying down while I gently guide you through a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice.

What do I need?

A quiet, comfortable space where you can fully relax. I recommend a blanket, pillows, eye pillow (if you have one), tea, journal, and headphones for the most immersive experience.

What if I can't join live?

You're still welcome to register! Your registration includes lifetime access to the replay, so you can enjoy the practice whenever it works best for you-whether that's the next morning, next week, or whenever you need a moment to reconnect.

What if I fall asleep?

That's completely okay-and very common. Your body often takes the rest it needs, and you'll still receive many of the restorative benefits of the practice.

How often should I return to the recording?

There’s no right or wrong way to experience your replay. Some people enjoy returning to it weekly, while others revisit it whenever life feels especially full or they need a moment to reset.

Because each month's practice is intentionally created around a unique theme and invitation, every time you return you may notice something different. A new insight. A deeper sense of calm. Or simply the reminder to pause and come back to yourself.
